Physiotherapy is the most important component in the treatment of dyspraxia. Increasing a child’s motor skills will lead to a development in their social skills and often improve their behaviour.
Following an initial assessment and a diagnosis from Manchester Neuro Physio your child will start an individual treatment programme for dyspraxia. The exercises will all be based around fun activities and games whilst improving strength, co-ordination, balance and body awareness.
As your child improves physically their self confidence will also improve. This leads to better interaction with their peer group, less disruptive behaviour and increased concentration.
