If ongoing physiotherapy is required in a school setting, the level of physiotherapy will be agreed between the pupil, parents, staff and the therapists after the assessment and an individual physiotherapy programme will then be written. The programme is usually implemented on a daily basis by classroom staff that have been trained by the physiotherapist. Your physiotherapist will change and progress the individual programme at regular review sessions to suit future goals.

- hands function/fine motor skills

- equipment at home to assist with function at home e.g. bathing, toileting, seating and eating
- standing frames
The physiotherapists at Manchester Neuro Physio are experienced at assessing children for the most appropriate equipment for both their physical and educational needs, and recommending the most appropriate level of physiotherapy input. They can assess your child and write a report that can be used to obtain funding from the either the school or local council for equipment and / or increased physiotherapy input.
