Medico-Legal Reports

Medico-Legal Reports

The expert neurological physiotherapists at Manchester Neuro Physio provide medico legal reports in relation to medical negligence and personal injury litigation. All of our expert therapists are registered with the Medico-Legal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MLACP). Curricula Vitae of appropriate experts can be provided on request.

Our physiotherapy reports can advise regarding:

  • The previous, present and future functional ability of the claimant
  • The therapy needs of the claimant
  • The claimant's potential for improvement with appropriate rehabilitation
  • The amount and cost of ongoing physiotherapy input
  • Equipment required to allow the claimant to maximise their potential
  • The capital and annual costs of specialist therapy equipment
  • The suitability of accommodation

How long will the report take?

An initial assessment is generally undertaken within two weeks of instruction.

Reports are generally provided within four weeks of the initial assessment.

How much will it cost?

Following your initial enquiry a written quotation for a neurological physiotherapy expert assessment and report can be provided. This quotation will be broken down into document review, assessment, travel and report preparation costs. The cost will vary depending on the location of the client and the complexity of the case and report.
