- Tight muscles
- Poor walking pattern
- Muscle weakness in arms and legs
- Twitching of muscles
- Tingling/ pins and needles
- Slow to begin movement
- Trembling hands
- Poor balance
- Double or blurred vision
- Problems with memory
- Difficulty with speech and swallowing
- Frequency of urination
Due to the signs and symptoms, Macho-Joseph disease is commonly mistaken for clumsiness, drunkenness or Parkinson’s disease. The symptoms get worse over time and can eventually lead to paralysis.
