At Manchester Neuro Physio we will perform an initial telephone assessment to make every effort to ensure that you are appropriate for SaeboFlex treatment and your first trip to us is not wasted.

If it is unclear whether you are appropriate for SaeboFlex treatment then the physiotherapist at Manchester Neuro Physio may ask to speak to your current physiotherapist or other health professional to avoid a wasted trip.

Those patients that are deemed appropriate will be given a time and a date to come into clinic and a brief physical assessment will first be performed to ensure that you are appropriate for this method of treatment.

Your physiotherapist will then perform a trial with our specialist SaeboFlex trial kit. This will involve the fitting of a trial SaeboFlex unit onto your affected arm. Your physiotherapist will then be able to show you how SaeboFlex can benefit you by performing some exercises with you. Many people see results immediately after the first session.

If you decide that you wish to proceed with ordering your own SaeboFlex unit and are happy to commence am intensive rehabilitation programme then your physiotherapist will measure you for your own custom made unit.

The intensive rehabilitation programme will take place over a period of months. Once you receive you SaeboFlex unit you will require at least 10 sessions of physiotherapy.

SaeboFlex assessments and treatment sessions are performed in our clinic or at your home, school, residential facility or nursing home.
