Children's Medico-Legal Reports

Children's Medico-Legal Reports

With the expert knowledge of our specialist Physiotherapists at Manchester Neuro Physio, we are able to provide medico-legal reports that relate to personal injury litigation and medical negligence. All of our qualified Physiotherapists are registered with the HCPC, CSP and Medico-Legal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MLACP).

Our physiotherapy reports can advise regarding the following:

  • Therapy requirements of the claimant
  • Accommodation suitability
  • Equipment required in order for the claimant to maximise potential
  • Cost and amount of ongoing Physiotherapy input required
  • Capital and annual cost of specialist therapy equipment
  • Claimant's potential to improve under the appropriate rehabilitation
  • Past, present and future functional ability of the claimant

How long will the report take?

Commonly, initial assessment is usually undertaken within 2 weeks of instruction and a report provided within 4 weeks of assessment, although this can vary depending on case complexity.

How much will it cost?

After an initial enquiry has been made, a written quotation for an expert physiotherapy report and assessment is then given. The quote given is broken down into document review, travel costs, assessment and costs for report preparation. Cost often varies depending on client location and case/report complexity.
